Staffing Updates
We are delighted to announce the appointment of new staff.
Learning Support assistants starting 9th March
Mrs Colman will be joining the Year 4 team in the mornings and the year 5 team in the afternoons.
Mrs Pursey-Agg will be joining the Year 3 team in the afternoon.
Inclusion Leader starting 13th April
Mrs Kemp will be joining the senior leadership team. Her focus will be to raise attainment for children. This is funded by the DFE under the RISE project.
Maternity Leave
Mrs Towle finishes work on the 6th March and Mrs Hancox will commence on the 9th March.
Miss Stodd finishes work on the 20th March, transition Miss Page has already commenced for the SENCo role.
Meals/Snack Payments
Polite reminder to all parents to ensure meal/snack payments are made in advance and Arbor accounts are kept in credit throughout the school year. Thank you.
Ukulele Lessons
We have the opportunity for a small group of children to start learning the Ukulele. The lessons are during the morning on a Friday. The cost is usually £62.00 per term; the Spring Term will be pro-rata.
This price includes the loan of a Ukulele.
Lessons will start Friday 6th March 2026.
Please let the office know if your child would like to learn the Ukulele.
World Book Day – Pyjama Day (Thursday 5th March)
We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March with a whole-school Pyjama Day. Children are invited to come to school in their comfiest pyjamas (with appropriate shoes for outdoors). Each year group will take part in cosy, night-time themed reading activities linked to a chosen book.
Parents are welcome to come and share a book with their child;

The House Champions this week were Team MacGregor.
The class with the best attendance was Lewis/Sachar class with 100%.
The class with the highest number of readers was Shakespeare with 100%.
The class with the most TTRS engagement was Shakespeare class with 52%.
