Dear Parents and Carers,
After some unpredictable weather, we were delighted to be greeted by sunshine yesterday for our annual Sports Day. The field came to life with energy, colour and plenty of determination as our children took part in each event. We were incredibly proud to see such wonderful sportsmanship on display, cheering one another on and trying their best. A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for your support and encouragement throughout the day; your cheers from the sidelines made all the difference.
Performing Arts Club
A special mention must go to our talented Performing Arts Club for their wonderful production of Aladdin this week. The children delivered a truly magical performance, full of energy, confidence and creativity that thoroughly captivated the audience. Their hard work and dedication were evident in every scene, and they should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. Thank you as well to the staff and families who supported them in bringing such a fantastic show to life.
Knife Awareness Week
As part of Knife Awareness Week, our Year 6 pupils took part in an important and informative workshop led by our local PCSO. The session provided a valuable opportunity for pupils to develop their understanding of personal safety, the consequences of knife crime and the importance of making positive choices. The children engaged thoughtfully and respectfully throughout, asking insightful questions and demonstrating maturity in their discussions. Well done Year 6.
Raffle Tickets
All children should have brought home two booklets of raffle tickets this week for our Summer Fair. We would be very grateful if you could sell these to friends and family to help raise funds in support of our PTFA. Each ticket is £1, and the whole booklet is £5. Please contact the school office if you require any additional tickets. Every ticket sold really makes a difference!
