{item_alt_tag}

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to a brand-new term at our school! We hope all our children and families enjoyed a restful and joyful break together. It has been wonderful to see the children's smiling faces and hear the buzz of excitement around the classrooms once again.

This term is full of new learning opportunities, fun experiences, and chances for our children to grow in confidence, kindness, and curiosity. We are incredibly proud of the way they have settled back in, ready to learn and shine.

Poppy Appeal

Thank you to the parents that supported this year's poppy appeal. We are pleased to share the certificate that has been received by the school this week.

Message from Mrs Thoroughgood and Marnie Aston

Thank you to everyone who attended the Emotion Coaching Part One workshop this week!
We’re excited to announce that Part Two of the Emotion Coaching workshop will be held at Heathfields on Wednesday, 4th March.

Keep an eye out for more details as the date approaches!

Educational Visit

The children had a fantastic time watching Jack and the Beanstalk at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms! They were fully immersed in the excitement of the performance—laughing, joining in with the classic “He’s behind you!” moments, and enjoying the colourful characters and lively music. It was wonderful to see their faces light up throughout the show.

Trips like these offer far more than just a fun day out. Pantomimes help children:

  • Develop a love of stories and theatre, sparking imagination and creativity.
  • Build confidence as they take part in interactive elements and respond as an audience.
  • Enhance language and listening skills through exposure to rich vocabulary, expressive storytelling, and live dialogue.
  • Strengthen social skills, sharing the experience with friends and discussing what they enjoyed afterwards.
  • Deepen cultural awareness, as theatre is an important part of the UK’s creative heritage.

We are so proud of how beautifully the children represented our school, and we hope they’ve come home excited to tell you all about their favourite moments!
